
To facilitate a monthly MND support group meeting.
Build positive relationships with the people attending the local support groups by actively listening and engaging in conversations
Making refreshments
Respecting people’s way of life as well as the choices they make, even if they differ from your own.
Record information following the MND Association guidelines using a digital database.
Attend peer support meetings (where possible) and keep in contact with the local staff member.
Attend online induction training and participate in ad hoc training & team socials.
Have good listening and communication skills.
Able to develop and maintain supportive relationships with people affected by MND
Are non-judgmental and respectful of diverse lifestyles
Are prepared to increase my understanding of MND and its impact on families
Understand the need for confidentiality and the importance of data protection.
