Introduction

Join the local MND Association South Yorkshire branch as a Fundraising volunteer

What you will be doing

Supporting the local branch to organise a variety of fundraising events
Organise street collections in accordance with Local Authority requirements
Be responsible for static collecting tins, ensuring the guidance for use, recording, collecting etc
Encourage local organisations and companies to fundraise on behalf of the Association
Raise awareness of MND at local events
Liaise with the Association in support of fundraising events co-ordinated nationally
Liaise with the Association's Relationship Fundraiser (RF) and Community Support Coordinator (CSC

What we are looking for

Have some experience of fundraising or organising events, but not essential
Have good interpersonal and communication skills
Have the ability to recognise potential opportunities for funding
Able to work independently
A Self Starter

What difference you will make

100% of all the funds raised locally are spent locally through local activities, support and our funding programme.
